The Eileen Necklace is named after Eileen Collins, the first woman to command a Space Shuttle mission. A decorated U.S. Air Force pilot and NASA astronaut, Collins broke barriers throughout her career, earning a reputation for exceptional precision and leadership. She flew high-performance military aircraft, became a test pilot, and ultimately commanded Space Shuttle missions. She was recognized by the Encyclopedia Britannica one of 300 women who have changed the world.
